Software QA Tester (Part-time)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Software QA Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications through rigorous manual testing processes. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify defects and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases for manual testing of software applications.
• Identify and log irregularities with specific steps, results, and necessary screenshots using bug tracking tools.
• Perform validation of fixes for reported issues.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in UI/UX testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and load testing. Assist technical team for troubleshooting.
• Support other ad-hoc testing tasks
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and improve product quality.

Qualifications:

• Degree or High Diploma, undergraduate or fresh graduate are also welcome
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for ensuring quality.
• Good communication skills in both verbal and written forms, with proficiency in English and Chinese writing.
