Job Overview

Specialist, Security Management System is responsible to support AMSEMS for the day-to-day implementation of the aviation Security Management System and Aviation Security Programme.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the currency of the AOSP and associated documentation by proposing and drafting amendments.
• Prepare security notices and / or articles for relevant personnel in order to address internal and external security issues.
• Participate investigations into accidents, incidents and/or irregularities affecting the security of operations.
• Conduct audits / inspections / surveys and produce reports to ascertain operational security is achieved.
• Conduct assessment on the effectiveness of remedial actions / preventative measures associated with the security deficiency.
• Maintain curriculum and syllabus for Security Training Programme.
• Deliver Security Training as and when required.
• Conduct Risk Analysis and Threat Assessment and produce reports to ascertain operational security is achieved.
• Coordinate special security measures during periods / instances of increased threat.
• Maintain the internal security vetting programme.
• Coordinate Airline Safety Review Group, Security Action Group and Security Exercises / Drills.
• Participate in IOSA programme as and when directed by SMSEMS.
• Participate in projects as and when directed by SMSEMS.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in a security, aviation or business-related subject.
• At least 5 years aviation or relevant security experience, including one year of supervisory, training delivery and / or audit experience.
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Knowledge in Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is preferable.
