Senior Programme Officer/ Programme Officer
Master of Liberal Sciences
School of Interdisciplinary Studies
(Post Ref.: 24/438)

The appointee will be required to provide clerical and administrative support to the Master of Liberal Sciences (MLS) programme.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a variety of administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the programme, including programme management, admissions, and promotion activities
  • Perform administrative tasks such as promotion, timetabling, scheduling courses and seminars, and coordinating teaching and learning activities
  • Manage administrative processes related to course arrangements, examinations, student activities, course evaluations, and events
  • Handle purchases, reimbursements, payments, and other financial and budgeting matters
  • Prepare programme reports and data for various reporting purposes
  • Serve as the secretary for programme committees
  • Handle student enquiries
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year’s relevant work experience
  • Good command of both English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • A high level of competence in computer literacy
  • Self-initiated, well-organized and a good team player
  • The ability to work independently and strong sense of responsibility

Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at the relevant rank.

Salary and Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
