Estates Management Office
The appointee will be responsible for (a) preparing tender documents, handling tender clarification and evaluation, preparing tender report, and supporting contract administration; (b) working with project teams to process and certify payment applications of lump sum and remeasurement contracts, conduct VO assessment, and settle final accounts, etc.; (c) preparing cost and pre-tender estimates of proposed projects; and (d) performing any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a Higher Certificate in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or Building Studies from a recognised university or a technical institute; OR a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or Building Studies from a recognised university or a technical institute with 3 years’ recognised apprenticeship in a reputable organisation; and (ii) at least 3 years’ relevant work experience subsequent to attaining (i) above. Having experience in handling term contracts will be an advantage.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
