System Analyst (Data Projects)

The job holder(s) will be seconded to our client to perform the followings:

• Support project management, system implementation and support of IT application systems, as well as other IT projects
• Involve in requirement collection and quotation/tender preparation for the new IT projects
• Perform data analyses and extraction, and generate ad-hoc reports using different data visualization, reporting and analytical tools
• Participate in the new project initiatives e.g. application development, new data management projects, business intelligence and data analytics projects, robotic processing automation projects etc.
• Provide application support and perform testing in various IT systems
• Participate in IT procurement and tendering
• Prepare technical, business and user requirement specifications, tender and procurement specification, as well as other project and support documentation
• Perform tasks as assigned by the supervisors
• Etc.

Requirements:

• Degree holder or higher in Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years' solid experience in SA job duties and 1 year in data management
• Experience in IT vendor management, procurement, and tender preparation is highly preferred
• Proficient in English and Chinese in both verbal and written communications
• Eligible to work in Hong Kong

Technical Requirements:

• Data modelling tools, data warehouse, data lakes
• Relational database (Oracle, MSSQL, MariaDB, or MySQL)
• Database reporting tools (Qliksense, Tableau, PowerBI, IBM Cognos Analytics, SAS, etc.)
• Etc.
