System Analyst

Christian Alliance International School (CAIS), a non-profit making school wholly owned by Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance, invites applications for System Analyst.

System Analyst

Job Duties:

• Be responsible for schoolwide applications including development, implementation, customisation, operation, support and maintenance.
• To conduct system analysis, feasibility study, design system architecture and optimize system performance.
• To perform data modelling and design database.
• To develop integrations between different systems.
• To collect user requirements, do UI design, coding, co-ordinate project and prepare project documents and rollout plan, conduct user training and application demonstration.
• To manage and work with vendors on system development, maintenance, support and integration.
• To support and work with internal users from different departments for school applications.
• To handle daily technical enquiries from staff, teachers, students, parents and users.
• To prepare test server, test plan, co-ordinate and carry out testing.
• To prepare technical documents, functional specification and user guides.
• To administrate, plan and carry out regular system operation of education application.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Higher Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related discipline.
• 4 years of relevant working experience are desirable.
• Experience in SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RBDMS, web server, popular programming language, school system development, PowerSchool or Schoology System is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skill, good interpersonal and communication skills; being attentive to details, proactive and self-initiative.
• Willing to learn new technologies and solutions.
• Mentor junior programmer if necessary.
• Ability to communicate in both English and Chinese.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered as Analyst Programmer role.
• Candidate with an understanding of Christian values preferred.
