System Maintenance Support (Mid-Shift including Sat/Sun and PH)

Responsibilities:

• System Management: Ensure effective computer systems via installation, upgrades, maintenance, patches, monitoring, and security compliance.
• User Support: Assist IT and business users with system performance and improvement recommendations.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee middleware, monitoring, and remote access services.
• Project Support: Provide technical assistance for new projects, including problem-solving and capacity planning.
• Upgrade Planning: Assess and plan for end-of-support hardware/software upgrades.
• Technical Advice: Support application development and operations teams.
• Operational Streamlining: Help improve procedures per ITD policies.
• Flexible Support: Offer support during and outside office hours.
• Project Coordination: Support public transport projects and facilitate team communication.
• Issue Management: Address technical requests during projects.
• Ad-Hoc Tasks: Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s in computer science or related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years in Linux, SCCM, or Middleware preferred.
• Preferred Skills: Administration in Proxmox, Ubuntu, AWS, Kubernetes, middleware, networking, VMWare.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving, multitasking, self-motivated, team player, bilingual in English and Chinese.
