Technology - Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and implementation of large scale system integration projects
• Supervise and work with offshore development team on coding and bug fix
• Create high level and detailed level requirement specifications for major and minor projects
• Allocate development task to team members, conduct hands-on development when needed
• Identify and document constraints, assumptions and risks associated with business requirements
• Maintain timely communications to business stakeholders throughout the project life cycle to ensure common understanding of the requirements and the impact to the business area
• Liaise with business users for system requirement, testing, training and support
• Delivery experience in some New IT Domains (e.g. Agile Delivery, blockchain, AI, platform development) is preferred

Requirements

• Degree holder preferably in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology/System, or other related disciplines
• 8+ years' of development experience in system integration and solution delivery implementation, less experienced candidates will be considered for the role of Assistant Development Manager
• Solid experience in Mobile / front end / Java development (ie: iOS/Android native apps development, HTML5, JavaScript, AngularJS, Web Services, WebSphere, DB2, J2EE, etc.)
• Willing to learn new IT technologies
• Strong presentation and people skills, able to effectively interact with diversified group of stakeholders such as different departments of the client, vendors, partners, and offshore teams
• Dynamic and adaptive to the global collaborative project team environment
• High interest to abreast to the latest technology trend and SI project delivery
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English and Cantonese (fluency in Mandarin is an advantage)
