Finance Manager

The Finance Manager oversees all finance functions as head of the department, develops and manages systems for budgets, cash flow and reporting. Analyze performance and ensure compliance. Advise leadership and communicate at all levels. Experience in finance, accounting and analysis required. Master of numbers, oversee processes and growing team. Strategic role to steer business success through financial governance.

• Oversee all accounting activities including payables, receivables, financial reporting etc.
• Prepare financial statements, reports and forecasts to analyze business performance.
• Develop and monitor company budgets, cash flow and cost control systems.
• Evaluate financial strengths and weaknesses to guide strategic planning.
• Manage financial compliance and audit readiness.
• Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Lead junior accountant and ensure work is accurate and on time.
• Advise executive team on investment decisions, new initiatives and risk management
• Oversee tax planning, compliance and filings.
• Train and develop junior staff to enhance their skills.
• Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, vendors, freelancers and other stakeholders.
• Research industry/market trends to evaluate impact on business.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management.
• Uphold all accounting principles, policies and regulatory standards.
• Handle Business Registration Renewal and financial aspects of new company setup etc.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting or relevant discipline
• Full familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge in accounting software – Quickbook is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Strong numeric sense and able to present financial analysis with management
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Language: Cantonese and English (Mandarin is a plus)
• CPA/ICCA Qualification
