Senior Business Analyst – e-Commerce Operations

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic eCommerce team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of our eCommerce operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across all key functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence: 
  • Oversee daily eCommerce operations, including pricing, item setup, promotions, product/customer onboarding, and reporting.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for executive decision-making, ensuring adherence to best practices, timely execution of projects, and alignment with business priorities.

• Data Analysis & Insights: 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (eCom BI, Demand Planning, Logistics) to understand end-to-end business processes.
  • Leverage data from various sources (ERP, PBI, vendor portals, 3PL systems, carrier portals) to conduct in-depth analyses, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Develop and present compelling data-driven reports to management, to supporting strategic decision-making related to sales growth, inventory optimization and margin improvement.

• Process Improvement: 
  • Proactively identify and address process gaps and inefficiencies. Provide management with solutions options to support effective and cost-efficient resolution.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members to resolving operational challenges.

• Strategic Alignment: 
  • Participate in business meetings and discussions, to identify and prioritize key initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project tracking documentation. Communicate project updates regularly.

• Global Collaboration: 
  Foster strong working relationships with international eCommerce teams in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and the USA.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Information technology, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 – 5 relevant experience in Retail, Manufacturing, or eCommerce.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable reporting and insights.
• Highly proficiency in Microsoft Excel and with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft D365 preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,  in both English and Chinese, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
