Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for talent to join our Secondary Chinese Language Teaching (CLT) Editorial Team who will assist in all stages of the production of Chinese Language Teaching materials for the target market. This role will be responsible for the research of target markets and materials within schedule in order to facilitate planning of market-appropriate courses and achieve the policy and profit objectives set by management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with planning, design and implementation and commissioning of new print and electronic publishing projects

  • Ensure project budget management is in control and on target

  • Establish and maintain professional network by liaising with authors, freelance contributors, teachers and academic consultants

  • Ensure the quality of the publications by supervising and reviewing all stages of subordinates' work

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams in market research, promotion and sales activities

  • Collaborate with design, production and technical teams on publishing and digital/multimedia productions

 

 

About You

Essential:

  • University degree in Chinese language or related discipline

  • High level of literacy in written Chinese and Putonghua knowledge

  • Excellent inter-personal skills, team player, adaptable, flexible

  • Presentation and public speaking skills

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and prioritization skills

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Meticulous eye for detail

 

Desirable:

  • Editorial experiences in educational books

  • Competitive, with winning attitude

  • Fresh graduates are also welcome
