Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain a robust app / SDK for smart glasses, ensuring compatibility across iOS and Android, including both native and hybrid frameworks.
• Implement and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) and develop related services for applications such as natural language processing, online search, and AI-driven visual and text integrations within a smart glasses ecosystem.
• Integrate and refine image recognition features for enhanced usability and functionality of smart glasses.
• Architect and refine the smart glasses ecosystem, integrating hardware, software, and cloud services.
• Optimize BLE and WiFi stack implementations to ensure seamless and low latency connectivity with mobile devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers (senior role only) and provide technical leadership.
• Stay current with industry trends and evaluate their application to our products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: mobile app / SDK development (native and hybrid frameworks), LLM development and service implementation, and image recognition.
• Candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience will be considered for a senior role.
• Proficiency in languages such as Swift, Kotlin, TypeScript, Python, etc.
• Experience with mobile development tools (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio) and hybrid frameworks.
• Experience with frameworks and tools for LLM development, such as PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, or OpenAI API, and service deployment.
• Proven experience in designing and refining image recognition systems.
• Knowledge in system architecture design, especially for hardware, software, and cloud-integrated ecosystems.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable software solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
