Procurement Officer

Working alongside an incredible team at Tai Pan Laundry, we seek a Procurement Officer to join the team. This role will provide comprehensive support to the finance team in the department's day-to-day operations.

Key Accountabilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and establish supplier agreements.

Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of materials without overstocking.

Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and supplier capabilities.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance.

Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support as required.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.

Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to procurement activities, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and invoice discrepancies.

• Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and performance metrics to management. 
   

General Requirements
 

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role, preferably in the laundry or hospitality industry.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in English and Chinese, as well as in computer applications.
• Knowledge of M365 applications and Power Platform.
• Excellent in Excel & Query
