Job Description
Seeking a Project E&M Quantity Surveyor to work in our clients' offices in Hong Kong.
Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of QS experience of major MEP systems. Candidates should have the capability and experience to review MEP drawings, specifications, cost information and bills of quantities for completeness, accuracy and associated contractual implications, measure and value variations associated with MEP systems and settle final accounts with contractors.
All candidates should be able to work as part of a team or independently.
5 day working week
Job Responsibilities:
Providing quantity surveying functions by assisting with:
- Contracts administration
- Valuation of variations
- Interim payments, cost control
- Final account preparation
- Quantities take-off / Re-measurement
- Assisting with claims research and substantiation
- Preparation of tender documents
Job Requirements:
- BSc Quantity Surveying preferred
- Minimum 5 years of QS experience in major MEP systems.
- Proven ability to work independently essential
- Good analytical, communication and presentation skills;
- Positive and proactive attitude with strong sense of responsibility;
- Fast learner and a good team player;
- Detail-minded and self-motivated;
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Putonghua desirable, but not essential.
- Good computer knowledge.
