Key Responsibilities

• Design and integrate AI systems (computer vision, LLMs, voice assistants) into scalable web applications using ​Next.js and ​TypeScript.

• Develop AI chatbot agents using ​LLMs, focusing on ​prompt engineering and ​RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques.

• Build AI voice assistants to guide users (including the Elderly) through health assessments and interventions.

• Collaborate on AI computer vision projects with frameworks like ​MediaPipe and ​YOLO for posture analysis and movement tracking.

• Experiment with ​local LLM deployment (e.g., Ollama) and optimize AI models for edge devices.

• Write clean, maintainable code to bridge AI prototypes with production-ready applications.

Key Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or related fields (fresh graduates welcome).

• ​Willing to use a MacBook: Our team primarily uses Windows, so we need someone comfortable adopting a MacBook for cross-platform testing, iOS/macOS development, and ensuring seamless compatibility.

• ​Eagerness to leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to solve problems and improve workflows.

• Hands-on experience with ​AI computer vision (MediaPipe, YOLO, or similar).

• Proficiency in ​TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web frameworks (Next.js, React).

• Basic understanding of ​Python for prototyping AI/ML models (TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken).

Bonus Skills

• Experience with ​RAG, ​LLM fine-tuning, or chatbot development.

• Knowledge of ​API design and system integration.

• Background in ​gerontechnology or Elderly-focused health solutions.

• Familiarity with ​local LLM setups (e.g., Ollama, llama.cpp).

• Exposure to ​Firebase or cloud services for backend development.
