Job Duties:
· Supervise the day-to-day operations of accounting staff under Hong Kong and China Region;
· Managing group consolidation, financial analysis, statutory reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and management reporting;
· Ensure timely accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to management;
· Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial/operational procedures;
· Assist in system modification and upgrade;
· Assist in annual audit and taxation computation;
· Coordinate and liaise with internal parties and external parties like external auditors, local tax and government authorities where required;
· Assist in any ad-hoc assignments to meet business needs.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor degree in Accountancy or equivalent;
· A minimum of 5 years working experience in accounting/auditing with at least 2 year’s experience in supervisory role and retail industry;
· Preferably with experience in audit as well as commercial firms;
· Good communication and interpersonal skills;
· Able to work independently & to meet tight deadlines, detail-oriented, responsible and be a good team player;
· Good knowledge of computerized accounting system and proficiency in application software;
· Good command of spoken and written of English, Mandarin and Cantonese; and
· Proficiency in MS Office with solid excel worksheet skills.
