Position Overview

As the Accounting Department Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our financial operations. You’ll lead a team of skilled professionals, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning, all while completing tasks within tight schedules and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
    • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
    • Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Perform month-end variance analysis in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Monitor cash flow and optimize working capital.
    • Handle ad hoc assignments as required.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a small team of accountants.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
    • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Contribute to financial strategy and decision-making.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
    • Manage and reduce the exchange risk

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a must.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proficiency in ERP (especially Microsoft Dynamics NAV) and Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Independent, energetic, and decisive, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
