Accounting Officer – Accounts Receivable (Insurance and Billing)

Salary: HK$25,793 – HK$40,868

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update collection documentation/reports for inpatient and outpatient debts
• Liaise and follow up with Billing Team and Outpatient Centres to substantiate unpaid amounts
• Handle general communication and collection responsibilities
• Communicate with insurers to manage payment from insurance companies
• Provide administrative support in submission of claims and related documentation to insurance companies
• Support patient billing and related duties
• Perform ad-hoc accounting duties as required

Requirements

• 5 subjects of Level 3 / Attained / Grade C or above in HKDSEE or Form 7 or above
• Holder of Higher Diploma or Degree of Accounting/Commercial will be an advantage
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in accounts receivable and related capacity; experience handling insurance and medical bills is an advantage
• Organized, self-motivated, and possessing a strong sense of responsibility
• Willing to learn and good interpersonal skills
• Desire to work in a team environment
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
