Assistant Creative Director

Responsibilities:

Strategy and Development

- Develop and implement the overall creative strategy of visual design for the company’s branding and products.

- Generate innovative concepts that align with our company mission and resonate with our target customers.

Supervision

- Lead and mentor a team of creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and inspiring environment.

- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and creativity.

- Perform administration duties of the department and provide reports to senior management

Collaboration

- Serve as a primary point of contact between the creative design team and other departments, including marketing, sales as well as Business Development and Education Services.

- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.

Content Production

- Oversee the content production process, ensuring the delivery of engaging and pedagogically sound educational materials.

- Work closely with editors, illustrators, and designers to maintain high-quality standards throughout the production cycle.

Market Insights

- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends in the business.

- Analyze competitor offerings and consumer preferences to inform creative decisions and product development.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or professional certificates in a relevant field (e.g., Creative Writing, Education, Marketing, or Design)

- 5 years of experience in a creative role, within the publishing, media or education sector a preference

- Proven experience in project management and content production

- Strong leadership skills including the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team

- Excellent communication skills
