职位描述

Job Purpose:

The position is to assist the Manager / Deputy Manager (Volunteer Development) to plan, implement and coordinate the related initiatives and plans on Volunteer Management in order to promote greater action, engagement and support for volunteers at all levels in the Agency.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and coordinate the project activities and ensure a timely and quality deliverable of responsible projects
  • Monitor the programmes progress and quality, prepare regular update and reports, provide recommendations to emerging risks/ problems and proposals for necessary actions
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Volunteer Management System (VMS)
  • Provide training to staff / volunteers involved in VMS
  • Coordinate the internal and external volunteer awards and recognition
  • Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the existing platform of Volunteer Development Support Team for internal collaboration across service units in promoting volunteering
  • Monitor the needs and practices of service units continuously and provide support and advise to develop efforts in relation to Volunteer Engagement
  • Manage the development and operation of Volunteer Development & Activities Centre
  • Supervise the staff and volunteers to execute service plans when necessary

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Holder, preferably in Social Science or related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification working experience in social services, preferably in volunteering, volunteer management or related sectors
  • Flexile personality, innovative, analytical thinking, initiative with mindset for improving service quality and with integrity
  • Independent, result orientated, flexible and be able to work under pressure and tight working schedule
  • A good team player equipped with good communications and interpersonal skills to work with a multi-disciplinary environment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in volunteer management and/or volunteer mobilization
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially in Word processing, Powerpoint, Excel and media production
  • Willing to work on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays as needed

Contract Period: 2 years (Renewable)
