Associate Medical Technologist (QC Officer)

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory testing and exercise quality control on routine and special medical laboratory tests and examinations.
• Review quality control for different tests before releasing the results and take appropriate action of the result according to standard operating procedure before reporting.
• Support research and development of new technologies.
• Perform quality management duties assigned by Laboratory Manager and Quality & Technical Manager.
• Perform routine clinical testing as Associate Medical Technologist.

 Job Requirements:

• 2 years medical laboratory experience preferable with laboratory quality assurance training and experience.
• Valid Certificate of Registration (Part II) issued by the Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologist Board or Master qualification in Laboratory Quality Management.
• Good language skills, and familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word software.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Experience in molecular diagnostics would be an advantage

 Place and Hours of Employment:

• Office at Shek Mun (Shatin District)
• Office hours 9am – 6pm (Monday to Friday, and alternative Saturdays). No shifts and no duties on Sundays / public holidays
