Business Development Manager

• Take ownership and accountability for an assigned portfolio of commercial customers to deliver our bancassurance value proposition
• Work closely with our partner’s relationship managers and insurance specialists on the execution of a distribution strategy for Property & Casualty and Corporate Accident & Health products
•  Assess and underwrite submissions received from customers for commercial insurance products
• Work closely with internal support functions to enhance the customer journey and deliver on our service proposition
• Contribute to the delivery of the commercial bancassurance business and the achievement of the applicable bancassurance P&L objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in any discipline
• At least 3 years of work experience in General Insurance, preferred in Business Development/Bancassurance focus
• Proven track record in the distribution and / or underwriting of general insurance products
• Experience and knowledge across general insurance products
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to engage with customers across industry segments
• Self motivated, creative, driven and resourceful
• Good command of written & spoken English and Cantonese, good speaking Mandarin is preferred
• PC literate in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
