Roles and Responsibilities:

Content Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and oversee the content strategy and planning for the organization. This involves conducting audience research, setting content goals and objectives, defining content topics and formats, creating editorial calendars and workflows, and aligning content with the overall marketing and business strategy.
  • Craft a compelling and coherent content vision that supports the brand identity, value proposition, and customer journey.

Content Creation and Management

  • Ensure the production and delivery of high-quality, engaging, and relevant content for the target audience.
  • Edit, proofread, and optimize the content for SEO, readability and conversion.
  • Use various content management systems and tools to publish, update, and organize the content across different channels and platforms.

Content Distribution and Promotion

  • Devise and implement the content distribution and promotion strategy for the organization.
  • Identify and select the most effective channels and methods to reach and engage the target audience, such as email, social media, blogs, podcasts, webinars, etc.
  • Create and execute content campaigns that align with the marketing funnel and generate leads, conversions, and retention.

Content Performance and Analysis

  • Accountable for measuring and evaluating the performance and impact of the content marketing efforts.
  • Define and track the key metrics and indicators that reflect the content goals and objectives, such as traffic, engagement, leads, conversions, retention, etc.
  • Use various analytics tools and platforms to collect, analyze, and report the data and insights on the content performance. recommendations for improvement.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience content strategist in content strategy development and implementation gained in advertising/marketing agency.
  • Familiarity with content distribution and amplification strategies, including social media advertising and influencer marketing.
  • Proficiency in content management and social media tools like HubSpot and/or Buffer.
  • Experience using analytics tools to monitor content performance and make data-driven decisions like Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and web design best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality, engaging, SEO-friendly content across digital and print platforms.
  • Cultural understanding and sensitivity to tailor content to our target audience’s preferences, interests and nuances.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
