Deputy General Manager, Information Systems

Responsibilities

We are looking for a candidate to lead a comprehensive range of ICT activities for MOL Hong Kong, driving the alignment of IT operations with strategic business objectives.

• Develop and oversee the implementation of IT strategies and infrastructure that support the company's strategic goals.
• Establish and manage the Information Systems' policies and goals, including resource planning, team development, performance evaluations, and budget oversight.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and guidelines throughout the organization.
• Maintain the IT Service Continuity Plan in alignment with the organization's Business Continuity Plan.
• Facilitate effective communication between the IT team and other departments to ensure integrated operations.
• Lead the planning, execution, and management of significant IT projects from start to finish.
• Analyze and define the organization's IT system requirements based on business needs.
• Manage the department's financial operations, including budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Respond to additional business or system requirements as directed by executive management.
• Implement executive-level policies and report on progress to the C-suite.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree holder with major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or equivalent disciplines;
• Minimum 10 years related working experience, a proven track record in IT management and leadership roles;
• Proficient in strategic planning and project management;
• Proficiency in written and verbal English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Manager.
