Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with upper management to set quality benchmarks
- Develop standards in accordance with industry regulations and customer expectations
- Plan and lead internal audits across business units, projects, and sites; report findings to management
- Identify quality control processes to ensure compliance with established criteria at all times
- Execute tests to verify that final products meet company standards
- Document findings and communicate relevant information to the production team
- Make critical decisions that promote cost-efficiency while maintaining quality standards
- Assist the Functional Leader in establishing, improving, and implementing policies, systems, programs, and initiatives to ensure compliance with relevant standards and management system requirements
- Establish and maintain a statistical database to analyze trends and root causes of non-conformances across the group/office; propose corrective actions for continuous improvement
- Drive the achievement of quality objectives and report on progress regularly
- Organize Management Reviews, highlighting issues that require attention and action
- Develop and deliver training programs for the region as necessary
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with relevant qualifications in Quality, Construction, Building Services, or Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the development and implementation of Quality Management Systems, process improvement, ideally in an engineering context
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 audit processes
- Experience in corporate environments, specifically in multinational corporations, is preferred
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and effectively under pressure as part of a team
- Proficient in PC skills, including MS Office and SharePoint
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Less experienced may be considered as Deputy Quality Manager
