Director, Corporate Finance

Lever Style is a company with over 65 years history in fashion & apparel industry, and is publicly listed in the HKEX (stock code 1346). 

Reporting to CFO, Director, Corporate Finance leads all facets of capital markets and investor relations initiatives, serving the secretarial needs of the Group and its subsidiaries for HKEX statutory compliance, and to identify, assess, select, define and execute new strategic growth opportunities.  

This position is based in Lever Style Shenzhen office, with daily cross-border commuting shuttle provided.      

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Providing leadership, direction and drive growth opportunities for the company.
2. Lead the structuring and execution of transactions, including equity fundraising, joint-venture setup, valuation, acquisition, due diligence, and disposal. 
3. Manage the whole transaction process with executive team, commencing from project initial to closing. M&A deal sourcing, audit and review transaction related documentation to mitigate M&A risks.
4. Preparation of rigorous financial modelling, investment memos and strategy recommendations.
5. Evaluate investment opportunities and optimize overall offering.
6. Run analysis of specific companies and designation sectors that are identified as potential acquisition targets.
7. Organize and coordinate regular analyst meetings, roadshows and daily investor relations activities. 
8. Collate and update the main financial data of company operations, industry insight and competitor landscape.
9. Develop and maintain relations with external business partners, stakeholders, investors, and service providers. 

CANDIDATE SPCIFICATION: 

1. University graduate or above with major in Accounting, Finance or Economics
2. Professional qualifications in HKICPA / HKCGI / HKICS / CFA / CMA or equivalent are preferred.
3. Experience in M&A projects.  
4. 10+ years of relevant experience across both sell-side and/or buy-side, gained from either in-house investor relations or investment banks or private equity firms or prestige accounting firms.
5. Solid corporate finance knowledge and skills on valuation, pricing technique, DCF, comparable company, transaction multiples, etc.
6. Fluent in Chinese and English; excellent communication and presentation skills.
7. Able to work under pressure and good multi-task management.
8. Strong conceptual and critical thinking skills; able to identify and assess key issues rather than simply filtering and reprocessing information.
9. Adaptive, comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environment.
