Faculty of Medicine
Working in the Faculty’s Office of Global Engagement, the appointee will be the key contact point with our overseas partners and collaborators. He/She will help drive meaningful engagement with stakeholders outside Hong Kong, and liaise with overseas medical schools on research collaborations, medical education and training, and student exchange programmes etc. He/She will also have the invaluable opportunities to work closely with world-renowned academics from global leading medical schools, learn from them and be inspired by their fascinating insights.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) formulating engagement strategies and actively engaging overseas stakeholders for the Faculty; (b) organising various kinds of events and visitation programmes for overseas delegates; (c) planning and executing marketing and communication exercises to enhance the Faculty’s global visibility; (d) providing accounting and administrative support; (e) updating and publishing webpage; and (f) performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Language, Business, or related disciplines; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) at least 5 years’ post-qualification executive work experience; (iv) excellent communication and writing skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) the ability to work as a creative, motivated team player with a positive work attitude; (vi) strong attentiveness to details; (vii) the ability to multitask under tight deadlines and the willingness to work outside office hour; (viii) good interpersonal, project management and presentation skills; and (ix) good knowledge of computer applications, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Previous experience in working with people from different cultural backgrounds is a plus. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
