  Yam Pak Charitable Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences (https://cis.sfu.edu.hk/) at Saint Francis University is setting up a distributed/ federated learning laboratory and is expanding its research and educational programmes in Artificial Intelligence and in Creative Media as a newly established Catholic University in Hong Kong, Saint Francis University. It also aims at strengthening the research culture in useful and high-impact technology area to better enable its faculty members to coach the students to become professionals in dream jobs in these fields. Candidates with background on interdisciplinarity between Artificial Intelligence and other areas including but not limited to design, healthcare, education, language are also needed. There are positions at different levels, including both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities  

1. Undertake teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
2. ⁠Undertake duties in course/ programme/ curriculum review and development;
3. Conduct research that leads to publications in top-tier refereed journals;
4. Engage in high-level consultancy, and other scholarly activities;
5. Perform academic and administrative duties; and
6. Perform any other Responsibilities and Tasks as assigned by the Dean of School or his delegate. 

Appointment Criteria
Applicants should have (i) an earned and recognized Doctoral Degree in relevant disciplines; and (ii) substantial relevant research/ teaching/ industrial experience. PhD students who have already completed their thesis and possess a strong research record may also apply.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
