As a key member of the Appeals Team, his/her job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

Responsibilities:

1. Face-to-face monthly donor recruitment (Roadshow)

  • Manage and monitor all Roadshow activities conducted in Hong Kong and Macau; and ensure the fundraising goals are met.
  • Liaise with venue sponsors and explore new locations for the recruitment activities 
  • Oversee the design of exhibition panels and coordinate the logistics for their setup.
  • Prepare essential materials for Roadshow activities including training materials, pitch cards, donation forms, uniforms and sign-up gifts, etc.
  • Prepare recruitment reports and analysis to monitor performance and fulfillment rate.
  • Responsible for relevant permit application required from regulatory body to ensure the recruitment activities can be conducted smoothly

2. Update the donation/donor related contents on the Agency website. 

3. Support the team in organizing activities for donors

4. Assist the team in implementing donor acquisition initiatives and exploring new income streams.

5. Ensure the proper maintenance and legal compliance of all collected donor information.

6. Take on additional assignments as requested by the team or Agency.

 

Requirements:

  • Tertiary educated with at least 5 years’ relevant experience in marketing and sales; preferably in NGO sector. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Fundraising Officer. 
  • High degree of initiative and commitment to income growth and goal attainments
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good command in English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must
