Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  • Set up accounts for new users and assist with password resets.
  • Maintain records of system updates, upgrades, and configurations.
  • Offer guidance to end-users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
  • Assist in the organization's IT security measures, including antivirus and firewall systems.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth functioning of all systems and applications.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve hardware or software faults.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and best practices in IT support.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, network functions, and software applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong communication abilities with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of IT security protocols and data protection practices.
  • Certification in IT or relevant field is a plus.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when necessary.
