Responsibilities:

• To assist Technical Manager to coordinate, plan and supervise the repair, maintenance, modification and installation works, plant operation and fit-out work relating to HVAC matter as assigned.
• To supervise the day-to-day maintenance staff and contractors and monitor defects rectification work, assess the performance of contractors, execute safety and health as well as environmental and quality control Policies, up-keep building services systems in working condition.
• To implement the maintenance programs through regular checking of building and plant rooms equipment against scheduled repair and maintenance work and suggest modification and improvement on repair and maintenance work and control expenditure.
• To deal with all technical enquiries raised by tenants and resolve all technical problems and promote customer satisfaction.
• To prepare drawings and maintain specific reports, records, sketches and estimates and set up specifications of work.
• To prepare and analyze quotations and tenders as submitted by contractors, initiate work and contract and carry out purchasing / procurement as well as countercheck / certifying contractor's bills and invoices as submitted.
• To assist in liaising with Government Departments and utility company regarding assigned works / projects.
• To maintain and ensure the technical service is provided in compliance with Government / Statutory requirements and company policy.
• To perform duty roster and attend specific work as scheduled.
• To attend emergency repair and carry out contingency plan.

Qualification and Work Experience Requirements:

• Degree in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years of work experience in operation and maintenance in building, consultancy or contracting works and 2 years in supervisory level. Experience in HVAC and Chiller plant system maintenance is an advantage.
• Well versed with relevant ordinances, statutory regulations and Code of Practices etc.
• Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Outgoing personality, analytical mind, hardworking, dynamic, resourceful and self-motivated.
• Holder of a Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker (Grade B or above) is preferable for Electrical Discipline.
• Hands-on experience in problem solving and emergency repair.
• Have strong senses of responsibility, effective interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Good PC skills, such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and AutoCAD.
• Candidates with less experience or qualification will be considered as Assistant Engineer.
