Inhouse Legal Counsel (litigation)

We are hiring a senior legal counsel to join our regional team based in Hong Kong.

Job Duties:

• Advise senior management/business units on the legal, compliance, risk and litigation matters affecting their business operations in their Hong Kong and regional activities
• Liaise with regulatory/Government authorities as required regarding any investigations, litigation and/or enquiries
• Manage and instruct external counsel to provide advice and review such advice
• Stay up to date on legal and regulatory updates

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Laws or related disciplines
• Solicitor holding unconditional practicing certificate
• Ideally minimum of 3 years of legal experience in litigation
• Fluent in both English and Chinese languages
• Proficient in drafting contracts and correspondence adeptly in both English and Chinese languages
• Commercially savvy with excellent communication skills
