IT Support Officer

About the role

As an IT Support Officer at OneStart Group, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to our diverse client base. In this full-time role based in Lai Chi Kok, you will be a key member of our IT team, ensuring that technology needs of our teams and clients are met efficiently and effectively.

What you'll be doing

• Respond to and resolve IT-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and network issues
• Assist with onboarding new users by setting up hardware and software, creating user profiles, configuring phones, and providing initial training sessions
• Manage the offboarding process for users by retrieving hardware, disabling accounts, and ensuring a smooth transition
• Provide end-user support and training on the use of various software and systems
• Assist with the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software
• Document all support activities and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with vendors to implement system improvements and enhancements to the systems and website

What we're looking for

• Diploma or above in Computer Studies, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Working knowledge of various operating systems, software applications, and networking technologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
