Junior IT Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Provide deskside support to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving basic hardware and software issues.
2. Assist in installing, configuring, and upgrading computer hardware and software.
3. Assist in setting up and maintaining computer peripherals, such as printers, scanners, and other office equipment.
4. Aid users with basic network connectivity and assist in troubleshooting network-related problems.
5. Support in performing system upgrades and patches.
6. Collaborate with the IT team on basic tasks and projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Diploma in IT or related field.
2. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
3. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues.
4. Good communication and customer service skills.
5. Willingness to learn, work independently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Basic problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Familiarity with ticketing systems is a plus.
8. Entry-level certifications (e.g., Microsoft/CompTIA IT Fundamentals).
