Language Centre Manager (Division of Languages and General Studies)

Duties:

• Take the lead to drive initiatives and schemes relating to language training and learning in line with the College’s strategic directions
• Supervise operation of the Language Centre and undertake the coordination of its services
• Manage, develop, and deliver language courses and modules for students of various disciplines
• Carry out academic and student activities related to language education and learning
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned and required by Supervisor(s)

Requirements:

• Holder of Bachelor Degree or above in English Language, Applied Linguistics or related disciplines
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at the tertiary level
• Solid experience in programme development and management of language centre or alike preferred
• Proficient in English and Chinese
• Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to plan strategically and handle complex issues tactfully in a fast-changing environment
• Target-oriented mindset with creativity and excellent problem-solving skills
