Logistics and Customer Service Coordinator (Trading/Manufacturing)

Job Duties
 

Customer Service

Provide weekly production and shipping reports to the customers using MS Excel via Email.

Shipping and Logistics
 

• Full Shipment Preparation – RFQ and proposals for Operations Manager/customers, handle booking (SO) and inquiries (SI) with forwarders, optimize loading, and prepare a full set of document for US shipment.
• Coordinate all shipping matters with the China Plant Logistics team members.  When needed, attend the container loading process at the China Plant.
• Search for and evaluate new forwarders and trucking companies, when needed.
• Data Entry and Analysis - Shipping cost analysis, Routing transit time, On-Time delivery, Load efficiency, Shipping demand/budget forecasts.
• Prepare annual Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.
• Required to learn new systems and workflows
• Applicants with only experience in freight forwarding or shipping companies are not suitable; must have an insight in manufacturing operations.
