Maintenance Officer

What you'll be doing

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on all building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service issues reported by tenants
• Perform minor repairs and coordinate with external contractors for larger maintenance projects
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and expenditures
• Assist with the planning and implementation of preventive maintenance programs
• Ensure the cleanliness and presentability of all common areas and shared facilities
• Foster positive relationships with tenants and address any concerns in a timely manner

What we're looking for

• Higher Diploma holder or above in Building Services Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Building Surveying / Building Studies or related disciplines
• At least 2 years of experience in a building maintenance or facilities management role
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of building systems and equipment
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and building codes
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software (preferred)
