Merchandiser: Back-to-School Bags, Toys

Job Description:

• Coordinate with overseas purchasing team and suppliers ensuring smooth order delivery
• Work closely with quality and shipping teams
• Spreadsheet management
• Source and present new suppliers, product, materials, concepts, and ideas
• Negotiate costs, terms, development and production schedules
• Vendor and PO management
• Weekly video calls with product development and purchasing teams
• Occasional on-site inspections as needed
• Maintain and update ERP
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Form 5 or above
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with licensed back to school bags and toys
• Proven project management and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• ERP experience (Oracle experience a plus)
• Proactive, detailed oriented, organized and team player
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Natural curiosity with a sense for questioning and follow-up
• Strong negotiation skills
• Willing to travel
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
