Merchandiser

Requirements: 

• Minimum 3 years working experience in merchandising field (experience in toy industry is preferred but not a must).
• Sourcing experience is preferred.
• Direct import order for major US and worldwide experience will be advantage.
• University graduated or equivalent.
• Good in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Good commend of MS Office software, AI & PS are appreciated but not a must.
• Mature, Responsible, Hands-on with Good administrative discipline.
• Able to work independently with self-motivation and under pressure.
• Details, strong common sense and responsible; good communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Report to Head of Marketing & Product Development and CEO
• Responsible for sourcing and daily merchandising duties, liaise with buyers, orders follow up, sampling, making quotation, prices, terms negotiation
• Liaise with suppliers to monitor the development process and production follow up
• Handle delivery arrangement
• General administration and ad hoc involvement in tasks or projects as assigned by supervisor in areas of process enhancement
• Act as the point of contact among Managing Director, Designers, Suppliers, Overseas Clients and other internal/external partners.
• Take minutes during meetings, physical and by visio-conference with time difference occasionally.
• Prepare buying meeting with visitors in Hong Kong and China.
• Assist in product and vendor sourcing activities.
• Make yearly collection review in cooperation with Sales.
• Visit occasionally factories/ attend sourcing trip in China and Asia.
