Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Assist IT Manager to follow Global IT Policy and implement IT controls and practices
• Responsible for ensuring data centers with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance and satisfying internal and external audits, including customer audits
• Responsible for maintaining secure, stable, and robust data center and network services
• Assist IT Manager to implement IT solutions including hardware and software for business operations, including customer projects
• Propose, evaluate, and test new technologies beneficial to the company
• Update technical documentation about IT services implemented
• Travel among different offices in Hong Kong for IT facilities supports
• Be second line support for IT facilities
• Change management
• Vendor management                                                                                                                                                                                                    

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Degree Holder in Information Technology
• More than 3 years’ experience in maintaining and implementing data center, network and information security
• Experience in Vendor Management especially in dealing with SI and ISP
• Experience in Change Management
• Experience in Project Management will be advantage
• Proven troubleshooting skills and experience in resolving complex data center and network problems
• Hands on experience in supporting Microsoft Windows servers and Office applications
• Unix or Linux administration experience will be advantage
• Experience with Cisco Firewalls, VPN Concentrators, router, switch, Fortigate equipment, CCNA or CCNP qualification will be advantage
• Ability to multi-tasks and adapt to changing situations, adhoc projects and varying workloads to accommodate the needs of the business
• Strong communication skill in interacting with all levels of customers including management
• Good written English and Chinese. Fluent spoken English, Cantonese
