The Gübelin Gem Lab was founded in 1923 as a small gemmological laboratory to examine and determine the authenticity gemstones. Since then, the Lab has grown to become one of the most respected institutions of its kind in the world. Gübelin Gem Lab provides global gem testing services in Lucerne, Hong Kong, New York and Thailand using the latest science and state-of-the-art equipment to carry out its gemstone analyses. We are looking for passionate individuals to join our multi-national team!

Qualifications & experience

• Proficiency in written and spoken English & Chinese
• Well experience in customer services with office administrative experience
• Self-motivated, good organizational skills & multi-tasking
• Able to manage own work independently as well as collaborate with other members of the team
• Pleasant personality & able to cope with demanding suppliers and customers
• Function with respectful manner while working in a multi-cultural environment
• Knowledge of core computer programs and aptitude for working with new systems and software are beneficial (Microsoft Office, Indesign, Photoshop)

Tasks & responsibilities

• Client Service - Handle order submissions, answer general enquiries, document preparation such as gem report, delivery note, invoice.
• Administration – Maintain general condition of the office. Organize logistics for testing equipment, valuables and documents. Handle other duties such as data entry, filing & basic photography of client items.
• Some travelling may be required, e.g., international fairs
