PART-TIME COSTUME INSTRUCTORS

The postholders are required to provide demonstrations on aspects of costume making for Theatre and Entertainment Arts students; act as tutor to students of the related subjects; supervise and assess students’ work; and make costumes for the Academy’s productions.  They are expected to work for a maximum of 17 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

Applicants should have:

(a) Proven experiences in all aspects of Chinese and Western Theatrical costume making;

(b) Knowledge of textiles;

(c) Experience in millinery and corsetry is an advantage;

(d) Some teaching experience in the related field is an advantage; and

(e) Good command of spoken English and Chinese.
