WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Support Director of Program and the Project Director on CLAP@JC X Generation Operations & Program Management: developing program operations strategy to realize program vision and meet operational targets
- Overall Project Management
- Lead the team of three within the Program Operations team to collaborate closely with other functional teams to develop and implement the program strategy that meet project goals within deadline and budgets
- Supervise the day-to-day operations and delivery of the project to ensure the goals and objectives are achieved throughout the project period. Based on feedback and data collected, provide project insights and recommendations for strengthening the project’s operational model and adoption in the long-run
- Maintain central database and conduct regular analysis, as well as consolidating feedback from stakeholders to provide recommendations on enhancing the operation model
- Stakeholder Management and Support Community & School
- Work with training partners, curriculum & instruction, business development & partnerships team to strategize and execute career coaching activities for learners, including implementing the intervention model of the pre-employment bootcamp training, organizing employability events with employer partners and/or volunteers (mock interview practice, CV critique workshop etc.); support the alumni engagement team to host alumni events
- Community and School partners: drive, build and nurture partnerships with community partners, NGOs and schools to plan and organize career and life development initiatives and connect our business partners to target persona; especially the “Non-engaged” Youth (NEY), “Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET)” in the community and potential school dropouts from network schools
- Impact Measurement and Reporting
- Project Goal/Objectives Management: track project output and outcome quarterly, evaluate the impact of the pre-employment bootcamps, preparing reports for stakeholders and funders, as well as providing insights/recommendations to long-term adoption of the program model
- Case building and Capture outcome: support NGOs and community partners to capture impact of various initiatives under CLAP@JC
- Learner and Alumni Engagement: capture transformational stories of learners/alumni and partner with the marketing team to develop relevant publicity materials; provide recommendations to on-going career & life development support for alumni to cross-functional team to strengthen alumni engagement
- Responsibilities as assigned by the leadership team
YOUR SUCCESS IS MEASURED BY:
- Project, Resources and Budget Management: manage the program framework, timeline and budget that ensure the Program Operations and other functional teams can work together to meet the project goals and objectives
- Leadership: lead by example; build and nurture the Program Operations team to innovatively and efficiently collaborate with all stakeholders to meet project goals and create positive impact
- Engagement Reach: expand the reach of target youth, including the potential learners and community youth, and enhance their employability into careers that would otherwise be inaccessible, and enable NGOs to understand and adopt our practices
- Partners Network Expansion: Facilitate new connections, including mentors, volunteers, NGOs, schools, alumni, to our ecosystem
DESIRABLE PROFILE:
Candidates for this role would be expected to possess the following experience and qualifications:
- 5+ years direct supervisory or management experience; extensive contacts within the NGO/education/human resources/business sector landscape will be an advantage
- Entrepreneurial, adaptive to changes, resilient and innovative mindset required of startups that takes ownership for targets and seeks opportunities for improvement / growth of the program without guidance
- Strong project management and analytical skills with a track record of managing projects and delivering operational targets
- Professional demeanour, excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail
- Open-minded and open to frequent feedback from students and the leadership team
- Positive, solutions-orientated attitude, drive for excellence and ability to be a team player
- Ability to work against tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment to achieve the program targets and objectives
- Excellent command of written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese) is a must
- Ideal candidate will have experience working with business sectors, educational institutions, and/or has knowledge of current trends, issues, and the stakeholders in the skills training sector
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Program Manager

Since 2018, our effort in Hong Kong covers 7 training programs in 3 future-oriented industries. Nearly 1000 individuals have been trained and supported into careers. And the employment rate of our learners after graduation is close to 90%. Everything we do is to support underserved individuals into life-changing careers.
