Quantity surveyor trainee

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for ArchSD construction projects
• Support the measurement and valuation of works in progress
• Assist in the assessment of contractor's claims and variations
• Participate in site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contractual terms
• Maintain accurate records of project costs and financial performance
• Support the preparation of reports and analyses for senior management

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Previous internship or work experience in a construction or surveying role is advantageous but not required
   

Skills:

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Schedule of Rates: Familiarity with the schedule of Rates used in ArchSD projects is highly preferable.

Additional Requirements:

Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is preferred but not required (A company car will be provided for work-related travel)

**Six-day working week, alternate Saturday-off

Salary depending on qualifications and experience.
