职位描述

Responsibilities:

  • Understand customers´ commercial and technical needs and opportunities;
  • Follow-up of daily activities for negotiation, service requirements, trouble shooting and complaints in line with relevant strategies and guidelines;
  • Execute national price strategy and ensure pricing compliance;
  • Manage account receivables and credit limits;
  • Research on customer needs and expectations in the field of products, processes and propose measures to improve customer satisfaction;
  • Generate, evaluate and report market and competitive information to ensure competitive advantage;
  • Work closely with other functions, e.g. key account management, techn. service, product management, NBD, customer service, supply chain and business services;
  • Identify new business and/or new projects. Load and maintain project pipeline;
  • Contact person for local external distributors, and responsible for target setting and daily management;
  • Maintain close contact and communication with regional, country and global management team to align regional project and commercial activities.
  • Advise customers on proper selection and application of products
  • Training and education of customers, contractors, authorities, and engineering firms on the use, application and benefits of DEGAROUTE®, DEGALAN®, and DEGADUR®
  • Attend trade shows and serve on industry group committees
  • Liaison with Applied Technoloy in China to coordinate customer technical projects
  • Identify new product needs and innovation opportunities

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry or Chemical / Construction Engineering;
  • 5+ years industry experience in a technical service/sales capacity.  Preference for experience in road marking, flooring or construction field.
  • Knowledge of polymer and/or coating raw materials;
  • Strong knowledge in the formulation and application of Road Marking and Flooring coatings is preferred
  • Keen to learn new products and new applications, and also from practice;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including one-on-one interactions, development of trusting long-term relationships, presentations to large groups;
  • Strong technical and commercial selling skills; demonstrated ability to develop multi-level relationships in complex organizations; ability to deal with a very diverse array of people from construction workers, business owners or Government authorities;
  • Good project management and organizational skills;
  • Strong problem-solving skills; demonstrates confidence in challenging situation;
  • Proven ability to work with diverse teams and cultures across regions/cultures;
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and bring all internal/external resources of the business together (technical, marketing, manufacturing, management, etc.) to lead projects requiring complex technical instruction;
  • Good command in English communication, and willing to travel in the Region Asia-Pacific.
