Responsibilities
Investment/Treasury/Payments
- Perform a wide range of daily investment and treasury duties independently and report directly to the Accounting Manager
- Prepare reports for the University's investment portfolio
- Handle fund transfers, fixed deposits, interest income allocation and update cash position status
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and bank reconciliations
- Prepare investment/treasury reports and arrange bank confirmations at the year-end
- Review payment vouchers and bank payments
- Provide assistance and support in system enhancements and process improvements
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements
- A recognized Degree or equivalent qualifications in Accounting or related disciplines
- Qualified Accountant with professional qualification of HKICPA or equivalent is preferred
- Relevant experience in managing investment portfolio and accounts payables
- Applicants with knowledge of accounting systems enhancement and process improvement are preferred
- A good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
Candidates with less/more experience will be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.
Salary and Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
