Senior Operation Specialist (Logistics)

This role is based in Hong Kong, reporting to Operation Manager, Hong Kong. The role covers supply execution for both Hong Kong and Taiwan markets.

What You Will Do:

This role cover vendor purchase order management for Hong Kong and Taiwan Market, daily tasks include

Purchase Order Management

• Place purchase order to vendors including timely last time buy/bridge buy execution
• Follow up vendor Purchase order shipment status
• Resolve shipment discrepancy with vendor and inbound team
• Analysis on quantity gap from multiple sources including customer SO, backorder and vendor PO
• Intercompany stock transfer (Move it /IC transfer request)
• Ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with supply and Demand planning on supply execution to ensure supply coverage on existing sales order and backorder
• Timely Communication / escalation on supply shipment status proactively to various commercial team

What You Need:

• Bachelor in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
• 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain functions
• Proficient in Excel or macro
• Willing to learn and able to handle complexities in a fast-paced environment
• Good command in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Strong sense of responsibility and urgency
• Well organized and good team player

Preferred:

• Experience in JDE system
• Work experience in medical device industry
