Summary:

The Senior Operations Specialist is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing critical operational aspects of the company, including procurement, cost control, and human resources. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives across various departments and brands within the group.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement and Cost-Control Management

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement initiatives to maximize cost savings and operational efficiency.
  • Lead contract negotiations with key suppliers and manage high-level vendor relationships.
  • Oversee inventory management strategies across all locations and brands.
  • Establish and enforce procurement policies, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Implement advanced cost-control measures and conduct regular cost-benefit analyses.

2. Human Resources Management

  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring best practices in recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with Hong Kong Labour Ordinance and other relevant employment laws.
  • Drive performance management initiatives and employee engagement programs.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues and provide expert guidance to leadership on HR matters.

3. Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement

  • Spearhead process improvement initiatives across the organization to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize resource utilization and reduce operational costs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness.
  • Implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in operations.

Requirements:

  • Act as a key liaison between departments, facilitating high-level communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to strategic planning at the executive level, offering insights on operational implications.
  • Lead special projects or initiatives that have significant impact on overall company performance.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in senior operations management roles, with demonstrated expertise in procurement and HR management.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing large-scale process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to senior leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong labour laws and international procurement best practices.
