Senior Procurement Supervisor

Responsibilities

Reports to the Procurement Manager based in Taiwan and be responsible for Amway Hong Kong and Taiwan’s overall procurement and sourcing strategies, including:

Procurement & Sourcing

• Develop the sourcing plans that align on short-term and long-term business needs
• Plan and execute negotiation on supplier contractual agreements to secure favorable pricing and contract terms in compliance with company policies
• Ensure service level agreements and performance metrics are met with supplier compliance and non-compliance are addressed promptly
• Analyze market, financial, cost and customer information to guide procurement decision and enhance overall sourcing efficiency
• Carry out process improvements in streamlining operations; implement change management strategies and effective communication to stakeholders
• Utilize supply market research and insights, ensuring the latest market dynamics and drivers formulating the procurement strategies

Supplier Performance & Relationship Management

• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve performance standard, ensure compliance and strengthen partnership across procurement activities
• Conduct regular supplier reviews to fulfill company compliance and drive continuous improvement
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies with suppliers and stakeholders, reducing risks and ensure business continuity

Requirements:

• Degree holder in business administration, supply chain management and purchasing or related subjects.
• 4-5 years’ experience in direct or indirect purchasing
• Able to work independently on execution and problem solving
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to handle different levels and types of people
• Good commands of both spoken and written English and mandarin
