Assistant Manager, Merchandising – Office Supplies, Technology & Furniture (International Sales)

Candidate with more extensive experience will be considered as Assistant Manager, Merchandising.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with existing customers while actively identifying and developing new customers and business opportunities to drive growth. You will also collaborate closely with vendors to source and trade products that meet customer requirements, ensuring sustainability of the business and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales revenue and profit targets as defined by KPIs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and ensure sustainability of the business.
• Develop and implement strategies to find and onboard new customers to grow the business.
• Collaborate with vendors to source and trade products that meet customer requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers and vendors to maximize profitability.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Provide exceptional customer service and act as a trusted advisor to customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of solid experience in merchandising/trading with solid knowledge & experience in office products (office supplies, technology, or furniture) or hard goods.
  • Proficiency in both Mandarin and English.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven expertise in account management.
  • Strong project management skills, including customer service, sales presentations, and project sourcing.
  • Result-oriented, well organized & strong problem-solving skills.
  • Occasional travel is required.
